At the moment I have current availability for counselling, hypnotherapy and wingwave coaching.  I offer face to face, telephone and online sessions.  

I work Monday and Tuesdays, Wednesday evenings 6pm - 8pm and Saturdays 10am till 1pm.  Please contact me as I can be flexible around these times.

About me and my therapy practice

Hello and welcome. My name is Kerry. I am a qualified integrative counsellor, hypnotherapist and Wingwave coach.  

Wingwave is an effective, yet gentle method which works by dissolving emotional stress and subconscious blocks for long-term shifts.  It also enhances positive emotions to help us to move forward with our lives.

I work with adults 18+ on a variety of issues.  I understand that life can feel really tough sometimes and that can leave us with lots of difficult feelings, such as feeling angry, scared, anxious, stressed or depressed.  We can feel like we are 'stuck' in life's challenges, or 'lost' or 'overwhelmed' with negative feelings and emotions. Sometimes we can just feel so unhappy with our life and not know where to turn. 

It can be 'daunting' taking the 1st step in contacting a therapist.  I offer you a warm, welcoming, non judgemental space where we can explore what has brought you to therapy. I will work with you in a way that is person centred creating a unique approach to match your individual needs.  I work at your pace and allow you the time to work through whatever is troubling you.  I have a variety of skills and training which offers you the choice of what works best for you and we can explore together and begin to make some changes.  

I can help you explore many different life problems such as anxiety, anger issues, confidence issues, depression, fears and phobias, low mood, low self esteem, not feeling good enough, OCD, relationship problems, stress and more.  My speciality is anxiety, stress and depression.

I offer you the space and comfort to work through the issues that my be causing you distress.  Working with me you can just be yourself.  I offer you the time where you can begin to relax, open up and feel understood and listened to so you can move forward and make changes.  We can work together to make positive changes to your life. 

Practice description

I provide a professional counselling service in Doncaster from my home, which unfortunately does not have wheelchair access.  My therapy room is in my rear garden, which is a lovely warm, confidential space where you can explore what has brought you to therapy without judgement. 

I'm professionally qualified to First Class Degree level and am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).  As a member I am bound by their professional Code of Practice and Ethical Framework.

I am passionate about helping others and am here to support you in your journey .

My first session

I offer a free 15-20 minute telephone consultation so we can discuss what has brought you to therapy, what expectations you might have and whether we may be a good fit for working together.  If you are happy to book in a session I ask for payment upfront to secure the session by bank transfer.

I will then send you my contract and assessment form by email for you to complete, sign and return before our first session.  This helps me to understand more about you and what has brought to therapy.  We will discuss the contract and assessment form in the first session to make sure we are happy working together.  It's also a chance to ask me any questions.
