About me and my therapy practice
Discover a new way of healing
As a somatic integrative counsellor, I understand that no two people are the same—so no single approach works for everyone. Your journey is unique, and together we’ll find the path that best supports you.
Many of the people I work with come to me feeling stuck—trapped in cycles of shame, negative self-beliefs, or patterns they can’t seem to break. My passion is helping clients move beyond these blocks, so they can reconnect with themselves and live with more ease, confidence, and resilience.
Since qualifying as a psychotherapist in 2018, I’ve continued to deepen my skills so I can offer the most effective support possible. This includes specialist training in working with children and young people, professional accreditation in 2021, and advanced qualifications in both EMDR therapy and Neurosomatic Psychotherapy—approaches proven to help people process and release trauma when talking alone doesn’t feel enough.
What I’ve learned through this journey is that trauma isn’t just held in the mind—it lives in the body too. When we don’t address this, we can remain caught in states of overwhelm, anxiety, hopelessness, or even physical pain. True healing happens when both the mind and body feel safe, balanced, and regulated.
In our work together, I’ll help you create that safety and guide you through a process that allows your nervous system to return to its natural window of tolerance. From there, emotions can be felt without flooding you, stress responses can soften, and space for new patterns of living can emerge.
My integrative approach weaves together the best of traditional and body-based therapies, offering you a personalised, compassionate, and practical path towards healing.
If you’re ready to move forward and explore a different way of working with your challenges, I’d love to support you.
Practice description
Therapy for Every Stage of Life
I work with people of all ages—from children as young as 12 to adults well into their 90s. One of my oldest clients is 97 and has been working with me for five years, showing that it’s never too late to grow, heal, and discover new ways of being.
Every journey is unique, and my sessions are tailored to you. While I often recommend weekly sessions to help the brain build new pathways and create lasting change, there is no rigid timeline—we work at the pace that feels right for you.
Specialist Trauma Support with EMDR
A central part of my practice is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful therapy that helps people process traumatic experiences without having to relive them. Through gentle bilateral stimulation, EMDR engages both sides of the brain and follows an eight-stage process that allows painful memories to lose their intensity and feel safe in the present. The memories remain, but they no longer hold you back.
Neurodiversity-Informed Practice
I have extensive experience supporting neurodiverse clients and bring both professional expertise and lived experience of ADHD to my work. This gives me a deep appreciation of the different ways our brains can process and experience the world.
I also work closely with Autistic clients, offering an approach that is flexible, respectful, and tailored to each individual’s needs. Understanding ADHD and Autism has shown me how vital it is to adapt therapy—there is no “one size fits all.”
To support those exploring ADHD, I provide access to QB Check, a leading attention assessment tool. While not a formal diagnosis, it offers valuable insight into brain function and can be a helpful step in understanding and managing symptoms.
A Relationship Built on Trust
Above all, I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. I offer a genuine, open, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe, supported, and truly heard.
