About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with changes? Are you ready to look at a different approach? Or want your past to stop defining who you are now and where you want to be in the future? Or looking for support through this difficult time? We are not able to change some things which affected us, but we can redefine it and make different decisions regarding to how we handle our emotions and feelings in the present and perhaps change certain behaviors that undermine us.
As an Integrative Therapist I have skills and techniques from many different types of therapy which I tailor to your particular situation and needs. What that looks like is you speaking as freely and honestly as you can and me asking questions, drawing attention to things in the background. We'll do activities and experiments which support positive change.
In the week between our meetings, the process of change continues within you. You might start to see things differently, to question things you'd previously accepted or have vivid intense dreams which are trying to show you something useful. Then when we meet again, we'll try and make sense of it all and find your best way through.
I have worked with clients referred by The NHS, Gwent Police, Local Authority's, Barnardo's and University of South Wales.
