About me and my therapy practice

Person Centred Therapy is a client-led humanistic approach where you as the client, rather than the therapist, are understood to be best placed to know  how you are feeling and what you are experiencing. As such, advice is not offered nor is judgement passed. Instead, a safe, attentive, warm, genuine, respectful and empathetic environment is provided, with our therapeutic relationship allowing for increased awareness, realisations and positive change. I will support you in reaching your own understanding and making decisions.

In addition, I may offer various techniques to help with relaxation, grounding, centring and general wellbeing. These are related to yoga, breathwork and mindfulness.

It is good to talk. It is even better to be truly heard. This listening is fundamental to what I offer.

Practice description

I offer a friendly counselling service, with sessions available in person in Winchester or Alresford in Hampshire, by video call or by phone. Alternatively, I can visit your own home if preferred.

As a qualified member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (mBACP), I use a Person Centred approach, offering a warm atmosphere, free from judgement. I have wide experience working empathetically with adults at all stages of life.

I can support you with, for example, bereavement, abuse, relationships, depression, separation, stress, loss, anxiety, personal development and spirituality, allowing you to gain awareness, clarity, understanding and find your own solutions and a way though whatever difficulties you may be facing. You may simply want to talk things through with someone other than friends or family.
