About me and my therapy practice
I am an Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist offering both short term and open-ended counselling in person, online and over the telephone to individuals. I offer a warm, empathic, friendly, supportive and nonjudgmental environment for us to work together. I will endeavour to therapeutically hold you throughout and be by your side. I fully believe that the relationship between us creates the conditions of change.
As an Integrative counsellor, I can work flexibly and collaboratively drawing from different therapeutic approaches. This enables me to tailor our work taking into consideration your individual needs and experiences.
I provide a non-judgmental, confidential and safe setting. My aim is to make your counselling experience as undaunting and easy as possible for you. I will support you through difficult or uncertain times and work with you to make sense of why you are thinking and feeling the way you do. We can reflect, process and explore what has bought you to counselling, your past experiences and how they affect you in the present. Together we can work towards positive change and a greater awareness and understanding of yourself.
I am experienced in working with grief and loss, low self-esteem, fertility issues, depression, trauma, anxiety, stress, difficult and painful childhood experiences and their impacts. Having an understanding of why you feel the way you do and of yourself can be both powerful and life changing. The result can be empowering, enabling you to move forward and live the life you choose to live.

My first sessionIf you would like to go ahead and book your first 50 minute session, we can do this without pressure to book further sessions. This will enable you to have a sense of how we can work together and to experience a counselling session. In our first session we will talk about what bought you to counselling at this point in your life and explore what you would like to gain from your sessions. If we decide that we will work together, we will continue to meet on a weekly basis for a 50 minute session.
