About me and my therapy practice
My name is Jade Smith. I provide Counselling and Psychotherapy services in Kelbrook, Lancashire. Easily accessible to people coming from Colne, Barnoldswick, Earby and Skipton.
I have a BA Hons in Counselling & Psychotherapy and a Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I have been volunteering as a counsellor for two years at a charitable organisation in Colne one day a week and work as a counsellor in a primary school one day a week.
My aim is to provide a safe, confidential space where you can open up and together we can explore the difficult feelings and emotions that may arise.
As an Integrative psychotherapist I believe that not one type of therapy fits all, therefore bringing in techniques from other modalities of therapy such as person-centred, CBT, Psychodynamic and Gestalt may provide you with a greater therapeutic experience.
I offer a free initial thirty minute consultations so that you can meet with me to see if I would be the best therapist for you.
My practice is located in my home, which gives a relaxed atmosphere. Clients can expect a non judgmental space to work through aspects of their lives that they feel ready for. I have three cats who are very cuddly for those clients who are animal lovers, of course if this isn't the case I can make sure that they are in another room.
