About me and my therapy practice
A warm welcome to you.
I’m Celia and I work with women to strengthen their self-esteem. If you constantly feel ‘not good enough’, you’re afraid that life’s opportunities are passing you by or you’re stifled by the need to constantly people please, then self esteem counselling may be for you.
We live in a high pressure world and many things can rock our self-esteem – a difficult childhood, a hurtful comment or a disappointing relationship. But self-esteem can be renewed and repaired. Many of my clients report feeling significantly better after completing our counselling sessions together.
I offer a non-judgemental, kind and safe environment, where you can talk about what’s troubling you, and together we can work to gain clarity and insight into your problems.
I tailor my approach to each client. Every client is an individual, and how you feel about your challenges are unique to you. I strongly believe that you are the expert on you. But my role is to support you in exploring your issues, spotting patterns that could be sabotaging your success and ultimately work with you to create a more fulfilling and authentic life. Where your needs are on par with everyone else’s.
Currently, I offer face to face sessions either in person or virtually, over the internet. If you’re St Albans based then you may want to see me in my beautifully appointed rooms in the city centre- close to the shops and cafes. If you live further afield then I offer virtual sessions which mean less travelling time for you and no need to leave the comfort of your living room.

It can be a big leap to commit to counselling sessions, so do consider having a 30 minute discovery call with me. This will allow you to tell me more about what’s on your mind.
