About me and my therapy practice
A warm welcome to you. People seek counselling for many reasons, throughout different stages of their life. You may be feeling depressed, anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed, but there is help available.
I offer a non-judgemental, kind, and safe environment, where you can talk about what’s troubling you, and together we can work to gain clarity and insight into your problems.
Although I work integratively, I tailor my approach to each client. No two clients are the same, no two issues are exactly the same and I strongly believe that you are the expert on you. My role is to support you in exploring your issues, spotting patterns that could be holding you back and ultimately working with you in creating a more fulfilling and authentic life.
My specialism is self-esteem issues for women. We live in a high-pressure world and many things can rock our self-esteem – a difficult childhood, a hurtful comment or a disappointing relationship. But self-esteem can be renewed and repaired and many of my clients report feeling significantly better after completing our counselling sessions together.
Currently, I offer face to face session in beautifully appointed rooms in the centre of St Albans, close to the shops and cafes. If you’d like to find out a little more about me, then please pop over to my website Cappuccino Counselling https://cappuccinocounselling.com/about or contact me for an initial chat on 077857 19490 or email email@example.com.
I have a professional diploma in integrative counselling, and a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies. My previous experience includes working as a counsellor for Mind in Mid Herts and an emotional support volunteer at Marie Curie. Currently I work for the NHS offering short term, solution focused sessions.
I am a registered member of the BACP, which means I adhere to a strict code of ethics and standards. I only work with adults over the age of 18.
