About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Angela and I am a qualified counsellor, Registered with the British Association for counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I’ve always had a passion for helping others, which is why I decided to train to become a counsellor.
I offer one to one counselling. I work in schools with children and also young people and adults. I have worked with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, low mood, self-harm, grief, trust issues, anger as well as eating disorders
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, making you feel low, anxious, depressed and lonely. Not being able to talk to family or friends through fear of being judged, which means that making sense of how we feel can be a struggle.
I work from a Person-Centred approach meaning that you are at the centre of my work. I offer a warm, safe and non-judgemental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, working together at pace that suites you. I will help you to try and working together towards personal growth, by learning a sense of self awareness and acceptance of who you are, so you can gain control and live a more fulfilling life.
I can provide short and long term counselling, I can offer weekend appointments and evening times. I work in Birmingham including Sutton Coldfield, Coleshill and Tamworth.
