About me and my therapy practice
An experienced integrative therapist working in Private Practice, with 10 years experience in the NHS in a primary care setting.
I have a Masters degree in Therapeutic Counselling and work as a Counselling Tutor and Trainer.
Practice description
I describe my approach as relational/integrative/psychodynamic, this means that our relationship will be very important to the quality and process of the therapy.
I aim to provide a safe and open space for you to explore your own internal world. I do think that it can be important to pay attention to the unconscious influence of the past whilst keeping open to the various creative ways that healing and growth can happen.
My first session
I always suggest an introductory session.
This is important for me to gain a clear picture of what is bringing you into therapy.
It is also important for you, giving an opportunity to meet me personally and to discover if I am the right therapist for you.
Together we would work out the best way forward.
Do feel free to email me with any questions you may have - or visit my website for further information.
