About me and my therapy practice
I am currently not accepting any new clients as I am fully booked.
Going to see a counsellor for the first time can feel daunting and out of your comfort zone. Our first session is to meet and to discuss what you might like from our sessions, some clients are unsure what they want from counselling but know they want to feel happier or more confident. I am a qualified CBT Therapist and person centred counsellor with 11 years of experience, therapy is individual and we will work together to look at the issues you are facing. This may be something you're going through right now or issues you have experienced in the past. CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) is a solution focused therapy used primarily within the NHS as it is an effective treatment for Depression and Anxiety Disorders. Our first session will be an overview of what issues you're currently facing, this is an opportunity to ask questions and get a general sense of how we would work together.
