About me and my therapy practice

Whether a couple or an individual, whatever troubles you…abuse, anxiety, depression, loss, low self-esteem, relationship issues, sexuality, sexual problems, stress, trauma or any other issue…the first step back to well-being is to reach out for support.

Perhaps a counselling relationship is what you need to help you through. Although family, close friends and colleagues can offer valuable support, sometimes these relationships can be barriers to exploring honestly and openly what you may be thinking or experiencing.

It may be counselling appears to be a daunting prospect for you. However, I would encourage you to try my initial "getting to know you” online session, where we can discover what specifically you are looking for and agree the best approach for exploring things further.

Please remember, there are no set rules for your therapy requirements, that is for you to determine with my help and support. Fundamentally, person-centred counselling respects you and your experiences as unique. Simply put, the route to well-being is aided by insight and awareness, gained through a therapeutic relationship based on trust, honesty, non-judgement and acceptance.

As an experienced person-centered BACP-registered counsellor, I place strong emphasis on getting to know and understand both you and your situation, and to appreciate the issues which are negatively impacting your life. My considerable training and experience, in dealing with a wide range of issues, can begin to help in restoring your sense of well-being.

Please contact me now to arrange an initial "getting to know you” online session where we can discover what you are looking for, how I work and to see if we would like to work together.

Counselling sessions (50 mins for individuals/ 1 hour for couples) cost £50 for individuals and £80 for couples. Please ask for details for a reduced fee, if needed.

DBS Certificate held.
