About me and my therapy practice
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected? Maybe you've been struggling recently, and it's finally time for you to prioritise yourself and find the support you deserve. Whether you’re navigating difficult emotions, past experiences, or simply trying to find your way forward, this is a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely.
Hi, I'm Talia - Welcome to Rosebay Counselling
How we will work together
I’m a BACP-registered, person-centred counsellor, which means I focus on you as an individual. My approach is warm, grounded, and adaptable to your unique needs. In our sessions, my goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you feel empowered to lead the conversation. I believe in the importance of you feeling heard, understood, and supported as you navigate your journey. Counselling is an investment, and you should be gaining what you need from your sessions.
My experience includes working with clients who face a variety of challenges, from anxiety and depression to body image and identity issues. I also have a particular interest in supporting those who are autistic or have ADHD. No matter what brings you to counselling though, I'm here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
Flexible and accessible
I understand how busy life can be, and I am passionate about offering flexible appointment times, including early mornings and evenings, to fit around your schedule. Sessions can be held in a quiet, private space in Walmer, Kent, or online via Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.
You deserve the space to tell your story, and I’m here to listen. Feel free to reach out via text, call, or email, or visit my website for more information.

My first session
That first session can feel daunting, and it's completely normal to feel a mix of emotions. My aim is to make this first session as comfortable and welcoming as possible for you.
While we are talking, I might ask a few questions and make notes to fill out a short assessment form. This allows me to ensure that I support you fully. I'll invite you to share as much as you feel you'd like to about what has brought you to counselling, and what you want to get from your sessions. There's no rush, and we'll go at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you have a lot to say or aren't quite sure where to start, that's ok. We can work together to explore what you are feeling.
