About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome, I’m Caroline a qualified counsellor and I am trained to help you work through concerns you might have or struggles you are facing. It’s understandable to feel some anxiety about taking that first step to contact a counsellor and I respect the commitment you are showing towards your own self care to do so.
Clients describe me as calm, caring and friendly and that it can be a relief to talk in confidence with someone unconnected to their situation. I shall offer a kind therapeutic relationship where it can feel safe to share your story,
I offer in person face to face sessions in a counselling room.
I also offer online sessions on Zoom.
It is also possible to have a combination of in person and online sessions, if that works well for you.
I work with adults in my Private Practice and there is further detail on how I work as a counsellor on my website.
I am also experienced in counselling young people, having worked with students as a Wellbeing Consultant in a University Wellbeing Service.
My first session
You can text, call or email me to arrange an introductory call, or to book our first counselling session together.
Each counselling session lasts for 60 minutes. In the first session there is space and time for you to share what has brought you to counselling at this time and your hopes from the process. I would also talk through aspects like confidentiality and agree how we might work together. Further information on data protection is available on my website in the Privacy section.
I offer a free introductory 20 minutes call, online or on the phone, to give you the opportunity to ask any questions about counselling you might have. I hope this is helpful for you to choose if you would like us to start to work together.
