About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Mark.

Life can feel tough at times and our feelings can begin to overwhelm us.  Perhaps you find yourself here because you are feeling anxious, or angry, or sad, and can't quite put your finger on why.  Perhaps you are finding relationships hard or are in a particularly challenging  stage of your life.

I offer a calm, holding and empathic space in which clients can create awareness and understanding of the feelings and emotions that hold them back and block how they would like to live their lives.  My holistic, relational and non-judgemental approach provides an environment for clients to explore the here-and-now challenges of life and reflect on them in the context of their full life experience.

I recognise that coming to therapy, particularly for the first time, can be a daunting experience and provide a safe, warm and confidential space for clients to explore the difficult moments and challenges they are experiencing in life.

Practice description

As an Integrative counsellor I draw on a number of approaches and sessions are tailored to the needs of each individual client. I believe strongly in the values of autonomy, choice & responsibility and hold that we all have the internal resources to find solutions that can lead to meaningful change.
