About me and my therapy practice
Hello, my name is Aisha. I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology and a BSc (Hons) in Counselling from the University of East London. I am a qualified integrative counsellor, providing counselling services for clients aged 16 and older.
Additionally, I specialise in mentoring university students who need support with academic organization and mental well-being. I also offer coping strategies for managing stress and mental health challenges.
Throughout my career, I have worked with clients from various backgrounds, providing support in family dynamics, mentoring, immigration casework, management, and key working.
Often in life, we are told to simply 'get on with it' or 'stop worrying.' Does this sound familiar to you? If so, you are not alone. At Talking Souls, we are here to listen to your concerns and to remind you that it is okay not to be okay. Life can bring us to a crossroads where we must decide which path to take. Many challenges can make it difficult to cope.
Traumas we experience in the past can significantly impact our mental health. Loss or bereavement can leave us devastated, while family or relationship breakdowns can lead to stress and financial difficulties. Problems at work, mental and physical health issues, and cultural or religious challenges can also cause anxiety. Feelings of depression, isolation, hearing voices, and struggling with suicidal thoughts can be difficult to understand and cope with.
The goal at Talking Souls is to listen to your story. In a safe and confidential setting, we aim to support and empower your healing journey through various modalities and interventions tailored to your needs. Our approach helps you gain awareness of yourself and encourages positive changes in your life.
You are valuable and important to us.
