About me and my therapy practice

It can be so hard to reach out when you need help. A problem or worry can be something from the past or a current situation that leaves you overwhelmed and unable to move forward. Maybe you instinctively feel something needs to change, but don’t know how to make that happen.

I am warm, kind and easy to talk to, offering a safe, non-judgemental space where you will be heard and valued. Together we can explore any struggles you may be experiencing so that you can live with a greater sense of well-being and self-confidence.

Being trained in different modalities enables me to work flexibly and holistically, adapting my approach to meet your specific needs.

My approach to counselling is underpinned by the belief that everyone has the capacity to change and heal, provided their environment facilitates growth. I aim to provide such an environment whereby you are equipped to take action for yourself. Adopting a non-directive attitude and respecting your autonomy enables you to explore your position in the world.

Practice description

I adopt a culturally informed practice and work with adults 18+ across all backgrounds and life experiences, whatever your stage of life, race, sexuality, neurodiversity, or class identity.

I have 30 years of experience working in the NHS and Occupational Health sectors and have worked as a clinical tutor with adults and young people.

Alongside my therapy practice, I work for a registered charity specialising in men's and women's fertility struggles, IVF, bereavement, pregnancy loss and related issues.
