About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP registered psychotherapist offering face to face and online counselling to individuals. My clients typically experience low mood/ depression , anxiety and problems with relationships. I am also a trained bereavement counsellor. I offer a safe non-judgemental space where you can explore your anxieties or concerns. Many of my clients have no previous experience of counselling and opening up to a stranger can be daunting and feel risky, others have tried different therapeutic approaches but struggle to make changes to their lives. Together we will think about how you have got to where you are, we will try to identify unhelpful patterns of behaviour that may hold you back and explore the potential to make positive changes. The therapy I provide is open -ended but we can also agree a time-limited contract.
In terms of my training I completed a Master's degree in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Counselling at Birkbeck College, University of London. In addition to my private practice I have held an honorary contract with the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and currently hold a visiting clinician contract with Tavistock Relationships.
