About me and my therapy practice
I am a Psychosynthesis Counsellor with over 18 years experience working in the counselling and caring professions.
The context of my work, Psychosynthesis, offers an approach to counselling which holds that every person's life has meaning and purpose, which can guide us towards a flourishing of who we truly are.
However, the weight of problems, periods of confusion, loss or trauma can overwhelm and block our ability to thrive. At such times, we can benefit from caring support in an accepting space where we can explore our difficulties with tender compassion.
I offers a calm, supportive space in which to explore the challenges and difficulties you may be experiencing.
I am a graduate of the London Institute of Psychosynthesis, Trinity College Dublin, and DCU. I am a trainee member with UKCP and APP, and a registered member of BACP. I abide by their code of ethics.
Helen: "After 15 years of building reinforced walls around my emotional pain no therapist could break through until I met Trish. From day one, I felt a genuine kindred spirit, genuine care and empathy, and someone who would not give up on me. With her help I have found myself, I have found a sense of joy, but most importantly I have found inner peace."
Mary: "My self awareness has changed - how I am in the world, how I see the world, how I make choices. I'm more aware of my triggers and my positive attributes. I've more responsibility - you can't unknow what you know, when you're aware. Trish is very good at getting to people's potential that they're not even aware of."
