About me and my therapy practice
I am an Integrative counsellor and supervisor based in Caterham, Surrey. I believe a strong supervisory relationship forms the cornerstone of a counsellors practice. For me supervision should always be a safe, non-judgemental space where we can learn and grow, reflect on our practice, gain insight into our relationships with clients, explore and develop from our mistakes and celebrate our successes. The relationship that I develop with my supervisees is key in facilitating this, and is based on a mutual respect and openness, where I hope both parties will reflect and learn, in an warm and authentic environment.
I offer individual supervision from my practice in Caterham, and can be flexible around fortnightly/monthly sessions dependant on your needs.

About me and my therapy practice
My approach to counselling is Integrative, which means I believe that every individual needs something unique from the experience of counselling. Therefore I try to tailor my approach to meet the needs of the individual client I am meeting, and use a variety of different techniques. I hope to offer a friendly and accessible safe space in which you can explore your difficulties, better understand your situation and potentially identify ways to better manage and move forward.I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist and work with both adults and young people, offering both long and short term support based on your needs.
My first session
In our first session together we will discuss the way that the counselling will be structured and I will tell you a little about my professional background and the way that I work. We will talk about what has led you to seek counselling support and what you may hope to achieve through the process. We will talk about how it has felt to work together in this way and whether moving forward into a process of counselling feels comfortable for us both.
