I am a qualified clinical supervisor who offers individual and group sessions.

I was trained as an integrative counsellor, and in my counselling practice, my work is informed by the belief that the therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist and in turn the relationship between supervisor and the supervisee, is the foundation for change and growth. With this in mind, I work to create a secure and supportive relationship for my supervisees to identify, understand and reflect on their resources and vulnerabilities. This can then form a platform for growth and positive changes in their therapeutic work.

My philosophy embraces a holistic approach to supervision, drawing upon multiple theoretical frameworks and models. These include the Hawkins and Shohet Seven-Eyed Model, the Inskipp and Proctor supervision alliance framework and the Support-Challenge approach for teaching and learning and is also guided by the BACP Ethical Framework.

Supervision, for me, is not just about reflection, but also about mutual learning and is an opportunity for us to come together as two professionals, united by a common goal: the well-being of the client. However, your personal growth, professional development, and the support you receive in your practice are just as important, and I aim to hold space for both.

I strive to create a space where you feel safe to explore, but also where I can gently challenge you to consider new perspectives and expand your practice. With that in mind, supervision is a two-way relationship, and I actively encourage feedback.

My aim is to help you better understand yourself, discover and strengthen your inner resources, and make informed decisions about any changes you may wish to make in your life.

In addition to my private practice, I have over 10 years of experience as a specialist counsellor within an NHS Tier 3 service, supporting individuals with complex relationships with food and emotional eating, often linked to childhood abuse and trauma. I also work with clients dealing with grief, loss, addiction, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and trauma, all of which can be underlying factors in emotional eating.

You may have a clear understanding of where your problems lie, or perhaps things feel more unclear. What matters is that you know you’re struggling to cope with everyday life. Talking to someone who is neutral, trained to listen with empathy, warmth, and kindness, can be a valuable step toward healing. It’s a space where you can feel accepted for who you are.

I have volunteered in community counselling settings, providing longer-term therapy, and have worked with Kent University's Well-Being Team. As an integrative counsellor, I offer both short-term focused and long-term in-depth therapy for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, stress, bereavement, childhood trauma, addiction, and low self-esteem.

I can help you to understand yourself and to discover and strengthen your own inner resources so that you can then make decisions about what, if any changes you wish to make in your life. You may understand where your problems lie, or it may not be so clear, but you do know that you feel unable to cope as usual with everyday life. It can help to talk to someone neutral who is trained to listen with warmth and kindness and accept us for who we are.

As well as my private practice, I also work for TBC Healthcare, helping people work through their relationship with food and their emotional eating often linked to childhood abuse and trauma.

Grief, Loss, Addiction, Depression, Anxiety, Low Self-Esteem and Trauma are also often predominate factors.
