About me and my therapy practice

You may be struggling with anxiety, difficulties in relationships, bereavement or an important life transition. Or you may be experiencing a quieter sense that something in your life is no longer working.

I am a psychotherapist and supervisor with over 20 years’ clinical experience. My approach is integrative, relational and depth-oriented, grounded in Psychosynthesis.

At the heart of my work is a thoughtful, collaborative therapeutic relationship in which we explore recurring patterns, emotions and ways of relating, while remaining attentive to your strengths, values and capacity for growth. Therapy moves at a pace that feels manageable and is always shaped by your individual needs.

Alongside conversation, I may, where appropriate, draw on creative and experiential ways of working such as visualisation, guided imagery, journalling, drawing, mindfulness or Walking Therapy. These approaches are never imposed, but offered where they can deepen understanding, unlock new perspectives and support meaningful change.

I work with adults across the lifespan and welcome people from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and life experiences. My practice includes individuals, couples and therapists in training. Alongside difficulties such as anxiety, relationship issues, addiction, eating disorders, abuse and bereavement, I have a longstanding interest in supporting those experiencing blocked creativity, questions of identity or purpose, and significant life transitions.

As well as English, I speak Italian, French and Spanish and am happy to draw upon these where helpful for those whose first language is not English. Sessions are conducted in English.

Practice description

At a time when more and more of life is mediated through screens, information and rapid solutions, psychotherapy offers something different: an embodied human relationship in which lasting change can become felt and lived.

I work in person in Clerkenwell, central London, and online throughout the UK and, where professionally appropriate, internationally. I offer individual and couples psychotherapy, Walking Therapy and therapy for counsellors and psychotherapists in training. Alongside my private practice, I supervise practitioners and facilitate therapeutic groups.

My practice welcomes adults from many backgrounds and life stages. I work with concerns including anxiety, loss, relationship difficulties, blocked creativity, questions of identity or purpose, and significant life transitions.

My first session

The first session is an opportunity for us to meet, explore what has brought you to therapy and consider whether we would work well together. There is no obligation to continue beyond this appointment.

I will invite you to share something of your current circumstances, history and relationships, and what you hope might be different as a result of therapy. You are welcome to ask questions about how I work and what you might expect from the process.

My hope is that you leave feeling listened to, with a clearer sense of what you need and the possible next steps, whether or not we continue working together.

The consultation is charged at the agreed session fee.
