About me and my therapy practice

I offer clinical supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists working integratively, and for those drawing on psychodynamic, humanistic, trauma-informed, or somatic approaches. My own practice is rooted in these same traditions, so I bring both a felt understanding of the work and a solid theoretical grounding to the supervisory relationship.

I use the Seven-Eyed Model alongside developmental models of supervision to help supervisees reflect on their practice from multiple angles and the wider systemic context. I hold an ethical and legal framework at the centre of supervision, while supporting supervisees to work within their own limits of proficiency and to seek appropriate professional support when needed.

My approach is intercultural and anti-oppressive, informed by ongoing reflection on diversity, difference, and power in the therapeutic and supervisory relationship.

Above all, I aim to offer a supervisory relationship that is user-centred, warm, and rigorous, one where supervisees feel safe enough to bring their uncertainty, their mistakes, and their growth edges, while being appropriately challenged to develop their self-awareness, their theoretical coherence, and their capacity for reflective practice.

About me and my therapy practice

I believe that every person has an innate capacity for growth, healing and resilience, even during life's most difficult moments. My role is to provide a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I aim to build a relationship in which you feel heard, respected and understood.

I work integratively, drawing on psychodynamic, humanistic, trauma-informed and somatic approaches. Together, we will explore how your past and present experiences may be influencing the way you relate to yourself and others, while also developing practical ways to manage the challenges you face in everyday life. Alongside deeper therapeutic exploration, I offer psychoeducation and coping strategies where these may be helpful.

My work is grounded in an understanding that difficult experiences affect both the mind and the body. As a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner and a graduate of Bodynamic Foundation and Shock Trauma Training, I may gently incorporate body-based approaches alongside talking therapy to support nervous system regulation, reduce feelings of overwhelm and help restore a sense of safety, balance and connection. Every session is tailored to your individual needs, with your pace, preferences and goals guiding our work together.

I see therapy not only as a way of relieving distress, but also as an opportunity to develop greater self-awareness, deepen self-compassion and create more fulfilling relationships with yourself and others. My hope is that our work together helps you feel more grounded, resilient and able to live a life that feels authentic and meaningful.

Practice description

If you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, carrying the effects of trauma, struggling with relationships, low self-esteem, grief or navigating a significant life transition, you do not have to face these challenges alone. I offer individual therapy for adults, both online and in person in central London.

Many of my clients are people navigating life between cultures. Some are adjusting to living in a new country, balancing family expectations with personal aspirations, or trying to make sense of different cultural identities. Others simply value the opportunity to express themselves in the language that feels most natural. I provide therapy in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, offering a culturally sensitive and inclusive space where all aspects of your identity are welcome.

I have a particular interest in working with trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, stress, loss and the lasting impact of early-life experiences. Whether your difficulties feel recent or have been with you for many years, we will work together to understand what has shaped them and how change is possible.

My aim is not only to help reduce symptoms but also to support you in developing greater emotional resilience, healthier relationships and a deeper understanding of yourself. Finding the right therapist is an important part of the therapeutic process, and I hope to offer a space where you feel safe enough to explore, heal and grow.
