My supervision qualification is registered with the Association of Integrative Sand play Therapists where I also head the board of Code and Ethics.
I am also qualified and registered supervisor for the creative arts with Play Therapy United Kingdom.
Practice description
Both individual and group supervision is offered either via zoom or face to face in Newenden Kent or Brighton Sussex
My first session
Supervision is for either an hour or one and an half depending on client to supervision ratio 6 clients / 1 hour.

Practice description
Therapy: individual ;family; Child Looked After (children’s homes, foster homes and pre post adoption).
Client base: 3-18years
The majority of therapy sessions are of a 50 structure and weekly reports are standard practice.
On average the sessions are in blocks of 12 weeks followed by a review and progress meeting. Both short term (12 weeks) and long term work are undertaken

Normally the first meeting is held with the primary careers only and following sessions with the young client and a career until the client feels confident enough to attend alone.

About me and my therapy practice
Two forms of therapy are offered and can be used either as one type or combined animal assisted therapy. The strength of animal attachment is very encouring and as I hold a MA in the psychology of touch, it is an integral part of the therapeutic process. However, I must strees that is is not compulsory.
The creative arts psychotherapy, child adolescent and family therapy includes art, music puppets and sand tray work.
Speacial interest and experience with CLA, young people, PTSD, ADHD and autistic spectrum.

Practice description
Schedule - 12 sessions with Goodman SDQ.
After the 12 sessions progress meetings are held to determine the benefit or not of the intervention.
A 4 week break is scheduled in between the courses to avoid dependency.
Weekly therapy reports are supplied.
In the event of divorce/separation, both parents are expected to sign and agree to the therapy - CLA, young people, social workers and carers.
My first session
The fiest session is an informal 'getting to kow you time' with no fee involved.
The clients are introduced to the animals, dogs, ponies and sheep if they are happy to do so - but not compulsory. The various items in the play room are explained and the clients are invited to 'have a go'.
Ground rules are explained such as confidentiality, cancellation policy, and payment. If the clients wish to proceed a contract is given to sign prior to the second meeting.
