About me and my therapy practice
As an integrative supervisor with over 10 years’ experience, I offer a relational, collaborative, and supportive space for practitioners at all stages of their career. I encourage my supervisees to bring anything and everything to supervision – from client work to professional development and self-reflection.
I see the supervisory relationship as equal and collaborative: we explore together rather than me directing. I am mindful of the natural hierarchy within supervision and aim to name and soften this dynamic, ensuring the space feels safe, respectful, and empowering.
My style is warm, open, and honest. I bring my own professional experience into the work where helpful, offering both encouragement and gentle challenge to support your growth. Supervision with me is not just about reassurance, but about equipping you with insight, confidence, and practical strategies to take back into your client work.
One supervisee recently reflected:
“I feel so lucky to have found Anna. She is the most calming, encouraging and empathetic supervisor I could have hoped for, and yet so level-headed, clear-sighted and practical. Every session with her leaves me feeling, not only reassured, but also equipped with fresh insight and a whole toolkit of strategies for meeting whatever my clients might bring.”
Practice description
I have been in private practice for over 10 years, working with a wide range of clients presenting with issues such as depression, anxiety, loss, bereavement, addiction, attachment, stress, chronic pain, trauma and abuse. This breadth of experience informs my supervision practice and the support I offer to other therapists.
My supervision experience is equally varied. I have worked with students on the Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy MA at the University of East London, facilitated group supervision within a children’s charity, and provided one-to-one supervision in private practice.
I am passionate about supervision being a meaningful and engaging part of a therapist’s practice, rather than something that feels like a chore or a requirement to be ticked off. My aim is for supervisees to leave each session feeling supported, encouraged, and held, while also taking away practical guidance that can enhance and strengthen their client work.
My first session
I suggest we have an hours session to start and then review.
If both supervisor and supervisee are happy to continue. We will then agree the terms of our agreement.
