About me and my therapy practice
With over 13 years’ experience as an Integrative Psychotherapist (UKCP Accredited), I offer clinical supervision to therapists, trainees, and professionals working in emotionally demanding roles.
At the heart of my approach is the belief that supervision is a relational process. The supervisory relationship itself becomes a space where we can think together about your work, your clients, and your responses—both spoken and unspoken. I see supervision as a collaborative, two-way process grounded in curiosity, mutual enquiry, and respect, where both voices are valued.
I aim to create a warm, thoughtful, and non-judgemental space where you feel safe enough to reflect openly—not only on your clinical work but also on how it impacts you. By paying attention to what emerges between us, we can begin to better understand relational dynamics, unconscious processes, and how these may be mirrored in your work with clients.
My practice is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing primarily on Psychodynamic and Transactional Analysis perspectives. I have a particular interest in developmental and complex trauma, especially within the looked-after community. I am EMDR trained and bring a strong grounding in therapeutic parenting, which informs my understanding of attachment, regulation, and relational patterns.
Supervision with me is not only about developing skills but also about supporting you as a practitioner. This might include:
• Exploring relational processes and patterns within your client work
• Reflecting on emotional responses and unconscious dynamics
• Developing your confidence and therapeutic identity
• Integrating theory with lived clinical experience
For trainees, I offer a supportive space where it is safe to not know, to ask questions, and to learn through experience. For more experienced practitioners, supervision can offer a deeper reflective space to continue growing, thinking, and evolving your practice.

About me and my therapy practice
I’m the Director and Founder of Next Step Psychotherapy & Wellbeing (NSPW). And thank you for viewing my profile, I originally qualified over 13 years ago in the psychodynamic approach, learning lots of different theories from Freud to Jung and many in between.
I specifically wanted to learn more about education because I believe psychoeducation is vital to the therapeutic process overall. Psychoeducation is a concept where a therapist would give you some knowledge on different psychological models to help you make sense of what is happening to you, and what is going on for you.
Over the past 13 years I have had the pleasure of working with many different clients both children, adults and couples alongside building Next Step Psychotherapy and Wellbeing. I am a professionally qualified psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and trainer, I am UKCP accredited. Established in private practice in 2013. My knowledge and skills have developed through my psychotherapeutic work in private practice. I am trained in the Psychodynamic and Transactional Analysis Approach, I felt this orientation resonated with me, as I really do believe we have to look back to be able to move forward. The Psychodynamic and Transactional Analysis Approach allows you to look at your behaviour and feelings as adults and how they may have been rooted in your childhood experiences.
I have a particular interest and extensive experience with adoption, Trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, personality disorders and working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe that there is always something new to learn working in this field & make a regular commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical supervision.
I would like to think that I'm down to earth, approachable I whilst I offer challenge within the therapeutic process, I'm a deep relational therapist.

In the last couple of years, I have been studying Transactional Analysis as I believe this provides a language to bring therapy and psychoeducation together.
