About me and my therapy practice

I am a Bristol based therapist and trainee supervisor, offering both online and face to face supervision.

I have been working in private practice as a therapist since 2015 and also have experience of working in schools and the NHS. I am an integrative practitioner and, whilst the core of my practice is person-centred, I draw on different approaches in my work depending on the needs of the individual. I have recently undertaken an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision (including online supervision).

Supervision is a vital part of the work we do as therapists and it is important to me to create a safe, supportive relationship where you can feel comfortable sharing your challenges and successes and through which we can openly and honestly explore your work with clients and how this is impacting you.

I offer a free initial consultation to enable us to explore your practice values, what I can offer in more detail and the way we can work together.

Face to face session are charged at a rate of £45 per 60 minute session or £60 per 90 minute session.

Online sessions are charged at a rate of £40 per 60 minute session and £55 per 90 minute session.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative Counsellor with a strong commitment to supporting people with their mental health, personal growth, and emotional wellbeing. I work with individuals who may be experiencing emotional difficulties, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or who are feeling stuck due to past experiences. I also support people navigating life transitions, loss, or periods of change that feel overwhelming or uncertain.

People seek counselling for many different reasons, and there is no “right” or “wrong” reason to come to therapy. Whatever brings you here, I offer a warm, empathic, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences safely and at your own pace. Therapy can help you develop greater self-awareness, gain new perspectives, and build self-compassion and confidence, supporting you to make meaningful changes and move towards a more fulfilling life.

As an Integrative Counsellor, I work collaboratively and tailor therapy to your individual needs, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches. My work is grounded in a relational, person-centred approach, with a strong emphasis on empathy, trust, and emotional safety. I am particularly interested in how past experiences can shape present patterns, and how understanding these connections can support growth and change in the here and now. Counselling offers an opportunity for all parts of you to be heard, helping you to better understand your needs, responses, and relationships.

Practice description

I am a fully qualified, experienced Integrative Counsellor with over 20 years’ experience of working with young people and adults across a variety of education, health and social care settings. I have previously worked with adult clients in the NHS, as well as in school counselling services. Since 2016 I have been running my own busy private practice, offering face to face sessions in and around central Bristol, as well as online sessions nationally. I am a registered member of the BACP and follow their ethical and professional guidelines. I have also recently undertaken an Advanced Diploma in Supervision (including online) and can offer both online and face to face supervision.

I have a degree in Psychology from University College London and a Diploma in Counselling from the University of the West of England.

In private practice, I work with adult clients over the age of 18 and offer both long-term as well as short-term, goal orientated work.

To ensure that I am the right counsellor for you I offer a free 30-minute initial consultation.

We will also spend some time discussing the practicalities of working together (day, times etc)
