About me and my therapy practice
I completed my Diploma in Supervision at the Institute of Group Analysis (IGA) in London. My fee for a 50 minute session is £60 online or in person.
Practice description
I work by supporting individuals and groups to reflect on their client work. I avoid providing ‘answers’ but aim to work collaboratively to uncover what the client and therapist might be experiencing. Supervision is an opportunity to create an environment rich in creativity and reflection; theoretical approaches are used to inform how the work is progressing, but the most important task is to see the person underneath the presentation.
My first session
I see clients and therapists for supervision in Brighton and Hastings. I have many years experience at Director level in corporate healthcare, so offer a wealth of experience for trainee and qualified therapists alike.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer both short-term (6-12 sessions) and longer term therapy. I work by looking at what’s going on now, and also what early childhood was like, as there are often links between early difficulties and family problems and how adults are now coping.
I am skilled at working with anxiety, depression, identity issues and relationship concerns, to name a few. I work with members of the LGBT community and understand the uniqueness of growing up LGBT. I am experienced in the cycle of addiction and the difficulty of giving up something which has been a reliable way of shielding us from pain. I can help you understand this cycle and look at ways of leading a life which is free from compulsive drinking, eating, sexual behaviour or pornography. Where appropriate, I use EMDR therapy. This is an NHS approved eye movement therapy to process trauma and PTSD.
I support women and men who have experienced Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), including controlling and abusive behaviour.
I look forward to seeing how I can help with what is causing you difficulty or holding you back. If you are simply feeling 'stuck' and need to explore your feelings around where you are in life, talking it through with me can be a freeing and clarifying process.
