Availability
I have availability from Monday to Wednesday and Friday during the daytime and early evening to suit most people's busy lives. I work with counsellors and or psychotherapists with a recognised qualification and BACP membership or equivalent professional bodies.
About me and my therapy practice
I can see supervisees on a one-to-one basis or two at one time. I have trained and have a busy private practice myself in Integrative Humanistic counselling (person-centred, existentialism & Gesalt). I work collaboratively with my supervisees, building on their confidence and knowledge covering all aspects of supervisees work and based on Proctor's model of formative, restorative and normative. I have a private practice in Eversley where supervision takes place in person, or for flexibility I can also see supervisees online.
Practice description
I have my own busy private practice that I have managed for ten years and have a great deal of experience working with adult clients with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship breakdowns, bereavement to name but a few. I also have experience working with neurodivergent clients. I have experience working with adults with more complex diagnosis such as cyclothymic disorder and bi-polar. I have a special interest of working with adults presenting with trauma.
I have experience of working with young adults through my work as a counsellor at Royal Holloway University.
My first session
I understand that it is difficult to choose one supervisor over another. Therefore, I always recommend that I meet with potential supervisees for an initial session to understand how I work with supervisees in supervision. This gives you the opportunity to set yourself some goals within your own practice and understand how I might add value in a collaborative way, and gives you the chance to go away and decide if you would like us to continue working together.

Availability
I have availability from Monday to Wednesday and Friday during the daytime and early evening to suit most people's busy lives. I work with adults (18 and above).
I can work both short-term (although a minimum of six sessions is recommended) or open-ended, taking as long as you need to explore unhealthy patterns or coping strategies that may have developed, leaving you feeling 'stuck'.
About me and my therapy practice
I work with clients face to face at my private therapy room in the discreet premises at The Coach House in Eversley. Some clients may prefer the convenience of having sessions via Zoom or telephone and so I also offer this service giving the same level of confidentiality as face to face and successfully building an open, trusted and non-judgmental relationship. You may to use a hybrid model of both to suit your needs.
Practice description
I have set up my private practice, Coach House Counselling, using a private therapy room in Eversley that offers a safe and confidential environment which is convenient to a wide area including covering Hartley Wintney, Aborfield, Yateley, Wokingham, Hook, Reading & Basingstoke. I have a great deal experience of working with young adults through my several years work at a University. I work collaboratively with older adults too with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship breakdowns, bereavement (including through suicide), redundancy, low self-esteem to name but a few. I also have experience working with people who are neurodivergent as well as complex diagnosis such as cyclothymia and bi-polar. I have a special interest in adults who have experienced trauma.
My first session
I understand that once you have taken that leap of faith and decided you would like change in your life in a positive way, that it is difficult to choose one therapist over another. Therefore, I always recommend we organise a 15 minute complimentary introductory call to give you an opportunity to ask me questions about how I work. If you feel my approach chimes with you, we can arrange an initial session (50 minutes) to understand what brings you to counselling and what you would like to achieve. This gives you the opportunity to set yourself some goals which lends some focus to therapy, yet also gives you the chance to go away and decide if you would like us to continue working together.
