About me and my therapy practice
I am a pluralistic integrative therapist and qualified clinical supervisor, with a holistic approach. I have experience working in both public, university/college, and third-sector charity settings, I also have a private practice. I have over 12 years of experience working with Complex Trauma and PTSD. As a pluralistic clinical supervisor, I work with flexibility, creativity, and engagement with my supervisees. I consider that having a collaborative and dialogic approach helps to draw from the skills, knowledge, and understanding of both my supervisee and me.
My style is open, flexible, and respectful, and I offer a space for my supervisees to safely reflect on and explore their practice, get practical advice, and recharge. As a strong believer in race, culture, gender, sexuality relationship diversity, and equality, I welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, and life experiences.
I offer a safe and supportive space in which to explore and develop therapeutic work, professional development, and learning and creative approaches. I am passionate about the supervisory relationship which I view as a two-way process during which we explore professional and personal development whilst adhering to the relevant professional bodies' codes of ethics. Within a respectful and relaxed atmosphere, we reflect on the work, therapeutic process, and relational dynamics.
Practice description
Pluralistic supervision is distinctive in two main ways: supervision sessions are structured and facilitated in accordance with pluralistic principles, and the supervisee is encouraged to focus on aspects such as (e.g. goals clarification, collaboration, use of feedback) that might be most relevant to their work with a specific client. I work in collaboration with you so you feel safe to explore all areas of your professional practice and personal development.
I work with supervisees at all stages of their counselling career, from students to long-established practitioners, from all different organisations and private practices. An important aspect of supervision is helping supervisees to consider the impact of the work on the self. As a trained bodyworker and breathwork practitioner, when appropriate I bring mindfulness and therapeutic approaches into my practice to support overall wellbeing, resilience, and self-care.
I currently offer clinical supervision online over video call or phone call
My first session
Initial Supervision Session: Purpose and Focus
The first supervision session will focus on identifying your individual needs and requirements. This will be informed by the sector in which you work, such as counselling, psychotherapy, psychology, social care, healthcare, education, or the third-sector/charitable environment.
Together, we will explore any professional goals you wish to develop and clarify what you are seeking from supervision. As a clinical supervisor, my aim is to facilitate a safe, supportive, and reflective space for learning and growth. This includes being open to questions, appropriate challenge, and the use of a clear and structured framework for reflection. Supervision is intended to be collaborative, mutually supportive, inclusive, and affirming, while also encouraging personal accountability and ongoing professional development.
During this initial session, we will also agree on expectations for both parties. This will include practical and professional arrangements such as session duration and frequency, cancellation policy, agreed agendas, session notes or logs, and online or video-call etiquette.

Practice description
I offer clinical supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists, and helping professionals at all stages of their career, from placement students to experienced practitioners, working across a wide range of settings including private practice, charities, education, health care, and organisational contexts.
My supervisory approach is grounded in pluralistic principles and is collaborative, reflective, and relational. I recognise that each supervisee brings their own knowledge, experience, values, and areas of development, and supervision is shaped around what is most helpful for you and your work at any given time. Together we explore your professional goals, ethical practice, clinical decision-making, and the therapeutic relationships you are working within, while also attending to your personal development as a practitioner.
An important aspect of my work is supporting supervisees to reflect on the impact of therapeutic work on the self. I am mindful of the emotional demands of the role and offer supervision that holds both the clinical material and your wellbeing with care. Where appropriate, and with consent, I may integrate mindfulness-based, body-aware, or breath-focused approaches to support reflection, resilience, and self-care within the supervisory process.
Pluralistic supervision is distinctive in that sessions are structured collaboratively and informed by your preferences, learning style, and professional context. We may focus on areas such as goal clarification, use of feedback, ethical considerations, transference and countertransference, limits of competence, and ongoing learning. I aim to offer a safe, respectful, and supportive space that encourages curiosity, openness, and thoughtful challenge.
I currently offer clinical supervision online via secure video call or telephone, with flexible daytime and evening appointments available.

My first session
At the start of our supervision relationship, as a pluralistic supervisor, I seek to build an understanding of the bigger picture of the supervisee's therapeutic stance by collecting information about their learning style, supervision preference, theories, and methods that they draw on in their work, and current personal and professional development agenda. Pluralistic supervision is similar to any other type of clinical supervision, in seeking to fulfill many functions with supporting good professional ethical practice, and personal development. What I can help with
