About me and my therapy practice

I'm an Integrative Counsellor (MA from Manchester Uni), incorporating CBT into my practice and using elements of TA with regard to relationship issues.  I have been practising for 13+ years, most of my work is short-term, particularly when doing Employee Assistance Programme work (4-12 sessions, though I have done longer term work).  I have a particular interest in supervising trainees but enjoy working with a variety of therapists.   I work solely in private practice now but my experience has been working in a GP surgery, Women's Centre and voluntary organisation where I have also facilitated supervision groups.  I prefer to work out of my Wilmslow room, though I can also see some supervisees in Cheadle Hulme.  (£60 for 1.5 hour session)

About me and my therapy practice

I am an Accredited as well as Registered Member of the BACP with Masters in Integrative Counselling from Manchester University and have been practising for 13+ years.  I believe in tailor making counselling sessions to individuals and couples, believing each person to be unique and resourceful.  We can all reach times where we feel stuck, hopeless, despairing or unable to cope.  My aim is to be an objective other, alongside you through that challenging part of your journey and to help you reconnect with your resourcefulness, as well as helping you gain fresh perspectives and renewed vision for the future.  From the sessions, you should be empowered to make changes and by the end of counselling, ready to steer your life and continue post-counselling in a positive direction, with insight and tools from our time together.  Online and face-to-face available (where appropriate)

(Individuals £70/hour; Couples £90/hour)
