About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced Counsellor/Pychotherapist (BA Hons Humanistic Counselling 2008, Counselling Diploma 2006, OCR Counselling Certificate 2004) and bacp accreditation from 2011.
Thank you for reading my profile. I provide a professional therapy service for adults, young people and Counselling students, and work with a wide range of issues. Offering a confidential, accepting and safe space in which a client can talk freely and openly about themselves and their issues with support and without judgement. I always sensitively work with what the client brings to the session, and integrate as appropriate a variety of counselling techniques. I have seen that increased awareness, and the therapeutic relationship is central to the growth, healing and change that emerges through the work. I am committed to treading a Mindful path myself (over 25 years experience) and the awareness gained from this naturally underpins my work with effective results, I often witness that when people are bathed in, and develop the Mindful awareness within themselves, find freedom from issues and unhelpful patterns that may have been playing out for long periods. A space of greater connection, insight, clarity and calm opens up, which offers a calm and grounded response to all inner and outer experiences.
I offer a £10 discount to Counselling students, and a few discounted places for those on low incomes.
