I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Supervisor with over 20years experience. Currently, I teach part-time as a counselling tutor, this involves teaching theoretical approaches through to topics such as Loss through to Diversity issues & engagement. Teaching also includes me holding developmental supervision groups for learners.

In private practice I provide a safe therapeutic and developmental space for supervisees - ALL based online at agreed date and time.

I am very passionate about supervision, as it affords me the opportunity to share resources for supervisees to obtain personal development and acquire developmental skills to assist with their client working alliances.

On initial enquiry either by phone or email, an arrangement will be made for a 15mins Introductory consultation by Phone or MS Teams, to briefly explore Supervision expectations and to determine working compatibility. Additionally, I can offer a one-off taster session.

Each Supervision session can be either 60mins or 90mins in duration and will occur on the same day and time fortnightly or monthly. This is confirmed within a therapeutic contract that will be emailed to you and to be completed prior to first counselling session.

Qualified Counsellor Rate:

15mins Introductory Session £30

30mins Taster Supervision Session @ £45

60mins Fortnightly Supervision @ £80

90mins Monthly Supervision @ £130

Trainee Counsellor Rate:

60mins Fortnightly Supervision @ £60

Each payment ought to be paid at least 24hours prior to attending each supervision session.

The format of each Supervision session will aim to follow an exploratory, supportive, developmental and coaching working space.

During online counselling sessions I will use the relevant therapeutic resources for you that will enable you to become aware of yourself and your needs, as my primary focus within each counselling session is to put ‘you’ the client first, as ‘You’ the client are your own best investment – even if it does not feel like it presently.

This consultation is also to determine working compatibility and therefore, no obligation is required to book a counselling session if there is found to be no compatibility.

The space created within counselling is for ‘You’ the client to be heard and tell your story of why you feel you need to speak with a therapist NOW…

This is a collaborative and safe space of working through challenges, uncertainty, stuckness, awareness of self & others, as well as boundaries. The space created enables ‘you’ the client, to explore and reflect on your experience(s) as well as to consider what steps are possible for you to take, in order for ‘you’ the client to create the shifts in the direction you desire.

Sessions are not a race and will be paced according to your needs, as in the story of the Tortoise & the Hare, they are in the same race, and both cross the finish line. Therefore, respect is taken to honour the space you need to process your experience, in order that you can heal, grow and move towards the image of your authentic self.

However, it is important to recognise that each journey or task, starts with one step or one small action, no matter how uncertain ‘you’ the client are about the actual process of counselling.

Will involve a welcome, addressing items related to contract and the completion of CORE forms, which will be explained.

Then counselling collaboration begins.
