About me and my therapy practice
At Pip Stacy Counselling Services, I offer counselling for individuals and couples, both face-to-face and online via Zoom. I also provide clinical supervision for therapists, supported by extensive experience and a broad understanding of a wide range of mental health presentations.
I work with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, anger, grief, suicidal thoughts, feelings of helplessness, and communication difficulties. My approach is grounded in creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences openly and at your own pace.
Sessions take place in my private home office, providing a calm, confidential environment. Alongside my professional training, I bring a depth of empathy shaped by my own lived experience of managing an incurable degenerative autoimmune condition. This has enriched my understanding of resilience, loss, and the complexities of navigating ongoing life challenges.
Practice description
I am a qualified counsellor specialising in Humanistic Counselling and Psychotherapy, with a particular focus on Transactional Analysis. I hold a BA (Hons) in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling and a Diploma in Clinical Supervision. My work is client-centred and relational, supporting you in deepening self-awareness and fostering meaningful, lasting change.
With the right support and environment, everyone has the capacity to make thoughtful choices and move towards a more fulfilling way of being. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns of thinking, feeling, or behaving that no longer serve them. Together, we can begin to gently explore and understand these patterns, enabling you to respond to life with greater clarity and confidence.
I aim to support you in strengthening your sense of self, enhancing your autonomy, and developing more helpful ways of relating to yourself and others. Through this process, you can begin to revise unhelpful patterns or “scripts” and move towards your full potential, emotionally, relationally, and psychologically.
I offer a warm, open, and honest approach, fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, transparency, and genuine collaboration.
My first session
For the first session, I offer a reduced rate at half price. This initial appointment is a gentle starting point for us to meet, get to know one another, and begin exploring what has brought you to therapy.
It’s an opportunity for you to share what you’d like support with, and for us to think together about how I can best support you going forward, at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
