About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Pippa
I offer clinical supervision for counsellors working with children, teenagers, and adults. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and grounded in years of experience working with clients across different ages and settings.
The right fit
Finding a supervisor is such a personal process - it’s about connection, trust, and support. Supervision should be a space where you can bring your whole self, share the challenges of the work, and feel heard and understood. My aim is to create a safe, reflective space where you can grow in confidence, explore creative interventions, and develop a deeper understanding of your practice.
I’ve been running my private practice since 2018, alongside working in schools and universities. My approach is integrative, with person-centred and psychodynamic theoretical frameworks and incorporating play, art, and somatically-informed mindfulness.
In 2024, I completed Counselling Tutor’s Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision Including Online Working and now offer low-cost supervision sessions as I continue developing in this area.
Practice description
Why work with me?
My background includes:
- Supporting children and young people in diverse school environments (state schools to international boarding schools).
- Private practice with clients across different age groups, and varied mental health needs.
- Creative therapy approaches (play therapy, art, and games) to help younger clients put feelings into words.
- Anna Freud Centre MSc research into adolescent wellbeing, referenced in a publication and presented at national conferences.
- A deep commitment to supporting the well-being of counsellors and helping professionals, with an understanding of burnout prevention.
I believe supervision is about partnership - working together to make sense of the complexities of client work, celebrating your strengths, and exploring areas where you want to grow. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to deepen your practice, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Pippa. I’m a counsellor, clinical supervisor and yoga teacher offering online mind–body therapy for anxiety, overwhelm and self-criticism for people in their 20s and 30s.
Are you feeling the pressure to keep everything going, even when it feels chaotic inside?
It might feel like you have a million plates spinning and it is getting harder to stop them from dropping. Perhaps anxiety is taking over, leaving you feeling trapped or out of control.
If this resonates, you are not alone.
Therapy with me offers a space to slow things down, understand yourself more deeply, and reconnect with your body in the comfort of your own home.
Together, we explore what is going on beneath the surface, identify patterns that keep you stuck, and develop practical ways of responding differently so change becomes something you feel from the inside, not just understand intellectually.
Alongside talking therapy, I draw on mindfulness, ACT, somatic approaches, yoga-informed body awareness and creative expression to support clients in building tools they can practise in daily life.
I offer both short-term focused work and longer-term open-ended therapy depending on what feels most helpful for you.
Practice description
In our work together, we might:
- Explore what is currently feeling difficult and what feels most important to change
- Practise grounding and mindfulness skills to help manage anxiety and overwhelm
- Notice patterns in thoughts, emotions and behaviours that may be keeping you stuck
- Reflect on what feels meaningful to you and what kind of life you want to move towards
- Experiment with small, manageable changes between sessions and reflect on how they went
- Use the therapy space to work through challenges with curiosity, compassion and practical support
My approach integrates:
- Mindfulness tools inspired by Jon Kabat-Zinn’s MBSR and MBCT work
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), supporting you to respond differently to difficult thoughts and feelings
- Self-compassion practices influenced by Kristin Neff to soften inner criticism and pressure
- Somatic awareness, helping you notice and process emotions and stress in the body
- Parts-based work informed by IFS, exploring how different parts of you may hold anxiety, self-criticism or younger emotional responses
- Creative expression through image-making and other creative tools to support emotional exploration
- Person-centred, attachment-focused and psychodynamic approaches to talking therapy
- Short-term focused and open-ended therapy
My first session
I offer a free 30-minute consultation to talk about what you are looking for support with and whether my approach feels like a good fit for you.
