About me and my therapy practice
Building upon my passion within my client work and bringing this passion into my supervision with you.
I offer you a collaborative space that is more than problem-solving and hope to provide you with a nurturing place that opens up the heart and soul gateways to new dimensions of reality and possibilities for each story and your work within it. Giving you a supportive environment with no judgment where you can explore your therapeutic practice and any concerns you may wish to bring. I hope to offer you the opportunity for growth and development with what you do. I can offer you online via Zoom or face-to-face supervision from the cabin.
I am an ACTO (Association for Counselling and Therapy Online) advanced online and telephone-trained counsellor and supervisor with current availability. My sessions are £60 an hour. For an informal discussion and to explore whether we feel we could work together please contact me using the contact form page or email me at Lorna@chilibreholistics.co.uk
Lets exploring your landscape
A collaborative space where we work together to give further insights into the work that you bring to this space. A supportive environment with no judgement where you can explore your client work and any dilemmas you wish to bring. Working either online or face-to-face.
Practice description
My supervision model of practice is predominately the 7-eyed model where the philosophy is on appreciation and being authentic as opposed to some deficit models. The 7-eyed model raises awareness of the client, the intervention, the client-supervisee relationship, supervisee, supervisor-supervisee dynamics, supervisor processes and the wider context as all aspects for consideration in the supervision process. It is a rich rewarding model supporting the expansion of your practice.
My first session
Your first session will explore your current practice, supervision needs and priorities.
My approach to supervision and establishing the focus of the work draws on the supervision triangle and moves across formative, normative and restorative needs.
My goal is to create a supportive and reflective foundation for ongoing supervision alongside the relational and emotional aspects of your work.
Sessions may revolve around:
Clinical: A focus on the client, counselling skills, interventions, assessment and referral.
Relational: Exploring the therapeutic relationship, emotional responses and the impact of the work on you as a counsellor.
Consultative: A broader space for reflection, professional and ethical dilemmas, complex cases and developing your confidence and autonomy.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey

About me and my therapy practice
Chilibre Holistics is the result of a lifelong journey of growth and interest in peoples well-being.
Your view and your experience of how you see and feel the world is unique to you, however, this often forgotten or lost depending on your external environment, where beliefs and expectations are absorbed.
Sometimes we wake up one day and just don't know who we are anymore.
What can offer you?
Whatever your age, background, race or culture, being heard and talking freely in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space can be incredibly empowering in understanding who you are and how you can be more true to you and I will support you in navigating your journey, be it a long or short one; from re-evaluating your existence, to more specific problems and understanding the emotions behind the thoughts, that drive your behaviors, that can support clarity of vision.
Together we can walk your journey.
Other areas of counselling services I offer are:
Bereavement counselling - Grief is unique, there is no one size fits all.
Couple Counselling - Couple therapy can help people open up some of the issues that are troubling them.
Walk and Talk - (normally in a local park) - Counselling in motion, literally walking side by side with you, at a pace that suits you.
I have particular experience in Loss and Suicide and am a clinical counsellor for two charities that work in these areas.
I work from home in Swanley, in a professional therapeutic cabin, this enables me to keep the counselling session fees reasonable for you.
My first session
Please contact me for a free informal 20 min phone consult.Once you have decided on a date to start your counselling journey, I will then send full confirmation details by email, within this email I ask you to complete a registration form and you are also sent a copy of the counselling contract ahead of your session to help you familiarise yourself with what to expect. On our first meeting, we will cover what has been sent to you in this email and explore any questions you may have.
On occasion, we may consider the use of additional assessment forms as they can be useful to see where you are with your thoughts and emotions at the beginning of your counselling journey. This can also be a useful reflection tool on your progress further down your counselling journey.
Your first session will include a little history-taking. Together we would set a possible focus for your counselling sessions, including any hopes, fears and other thought processes as it can be helpful to create a focus for you.
If you decide to continue sessions, it is recommended to consider an initial commitment of six sessions where we would then review your sessions and where you felt you were.
This is only an idea of what can happen, your sessions are yours and your journey is unique. One of the most important aspects of counselling is the relationship we build together that supports and enables exploration of the areas important to you that may be causing concern for you.
