About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome to my supervision practice!
I welcome supervisees who work with adults or young people.
With over 10 years’ experience as a qualified therapist, I’ve worked with both adults and young people across a range of settings, including charities, mainstream schools, specialist education providers and private practice. I’d love to share what I’ve learned and support you as you grow and develop in your work with clients.
My supervision practice and personal philosophy are grounded in Rogers’ person-centred approach. I also draw on other models, such as Hawkins and Shohet’s Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, and offer creative methods of expression to provide a flexible approach that supports your preferred way of working.
I am in regular supervision of supervision and I abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am subject to its complaints procedure.
Please contact me, and we can see if we are a good fit.
Practice description
Safety:
I encourage you to bring all aspects of your work to supervision, what’s going well, and what feels more challenging. I believe that mistakes can offer valuable growth opportunities when explored within a compassionate and non-judgemental space.
You won’t be left to manage risk or safeguarding concerns on your own. If something urgent comes up between sessions, you’re welcome to get in touch. I’m here to support you.
Space:
I aim to offer fresh perspectives on client work and the relationships around it, while also holding space to reflect on issues of equality, diversity, and inclusion as an integral part of our work together.
Creativity:
I welcome creative methods of expression and exploration as a way to encourage depth and new perspectives in the supervision process.
My first session
I would be delighted to speak with you initially to explore the possibility of working together. I offer a free 15-minute phone or Zoom call, and we can go from there. Whatever your reason for seeking supervision, I look forward to hearing from you.

About me and my therapy practice
Hi! I’m Cally, an experienced psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience working with adults and young people. I have a warm and down-to-earth approach, bringing creativity, curiosity and kindness to my work.
I facilitate a consistent, non-judgmental space where we can safely explore your thoughts and feelings, allowing you to get to know yourself on a much deeper level. You’ll get a sense of who I am in the room too; I’ll be right there alongside you as we work together.
Given these conditions, change is possible. Whether you have been struggling with anxiety, depression, self-loathing, trauma or loss, or you’re not quite sure what’s wrong but feel like something isn’t quite right, I can work with you to develop a better relationship with yourself and others. I have successfully worked with many clients, supporting them to heal and recover from past difficulties and lead a fuller, more fulfilling life.
I’m particularly interested in trauma and the ways difficult experiences can continue to affect us. I work with the different parts of ourselves that develop through adversity, helping you to understand where they come from and how they can sometimes lead us to behave in ways that are hard to reconcile. This can help loosen shame, reduce inner conflict and move towards a more accepting and coherent sense of self.
I have also had extensive experience of working with young people in youth charity counselling services and mainstream schools, and I’m currently a therapeutic lead in a specialist school setting. I have experience of working with young people who are dealing with issues such as anger, anxiety and self-harm, and welcome enquiries from young people or those who care for them.
Please get in touch, and I’ll be happy to arrange a short, free phone or online call to see if we feel like a good fit.
Practice description
We can work online or meet in person in my peaceful garden studio in Hanwell, W7.
My approach is person-centred, which means I believe you are the expert in your own experience. I also draw on attachment and trauma theory, including survival strategies and body-based approaches. I’ll work alongside you to understand what you need as an individual, tailoring therapy to meet your unique requirements.
My first session
Getting in touch can feel like a big step, so I offer a free 15 minute phone or Zoom call before we decide whether to work together. It’s a chance to talk briefly about what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions and get a sense of whether I might be the right therapist for you.
If we feel we’re a good fit, we can arrange an initial session for £70. During this session, we’ll explore what has brought you to counselling, what you’re hoping for from therapy and how we might work together. I’ll also tell you more about my approach and we can take some time to decide whether it feels right to continue.
