About me and my therapy practice
Hi there. How are you today? Being a Counsellor is a wonderful, rewarding role to have, but it can also be challenging at times. As a Counselling Supervisor, my priority is being there to support you, as you support your clients. Supervision is a place where you get to talk about how things are for you, both in the work and in life generally. I encourage supervisees to explore their client work fully in supervision, what is going well, and what may need time and attention. Along with support, encouragement and empathy, I offer gentle challenge when needed. I can be your sounding board to work through issues coming up in client work, and to explore your thoughts and feelings around them. I have 10 years experience as a Counsellor and 6 years expereince as a Supervisor. Why not let me hold space for you, as you hold space for others?
Practice description
I offer both in person and online monthly supervision sessions. I hold a Level 6 in Counselling Supervision with CPCAB. As a practising Counsellor, as well as a Supervisor and Facilitator, I know how things are for Counsellors in the counselling room in 2026. I am committed to supporting my supervisees to give of their best to their clients, whilst also looking after their own needs too. I can help you develop your skills and knowledge and belief in yourself as a Counsellor.
My first session
A first supervision session is a "getting to know you" session and to answer any questions you may have. We can explore together if I am a good "fit" for you or not. There is no pressure to commit to working together if it does not feel right for you. It is so important to be able to have good rapport and a trusting working realtionship with your Supervisor.
