About me and my therapy practice
I believe in empowering and encouraging supervisees to become the counsellors they want to be which is why I feel so passionate about supervision.
The work we do as therapists can be hard and isolating at times so it's important to have a space you can go to where you feel comfortable to share the highs and lows of your work.
I hope to offer a collaborative space that feels supportive and challenging as you reflect on your work and grow as a counsellor and individual.
Practice description
Experience and how I work
I have seven years of experience as an integrative counsellor, combining several models into my practice although I work from a person-centred core. I'm trained in the 7-eyed model of supervision and really enjoy how this allows me to get a good sense of supervisees and their clients while always considering our relationship.
As a whole, I work very relationally, being a naturally intuitive person I've learned to incorporate this skill into my practice and I therefore bring all of me into the work that I do.
I have experience working in private practice, charity organisations, EAP's, and counselling helplines, in person, online and over the phone.
Why did I become a Supervisor?
After years of thoroughly enjoying being a counsellor, I developed a real joy of working with student counsellors and realised I loved being a small part of their journey into the world of therapy and decided I'd like to be able to offer supervision to students as well as therapy.
Therefore, I'm able to work with both training and qualified counsellors.

About me and my therapy practice
I became a counsellor after having counselling myself and realising I wanted to help people in the same way I’d been helped.
Having experienced my fair share of difficult events throughout my life, I’ve developed a passion for helping women step into their power after facing traumatic relationships or events which have left them feeling lost and disempowered.
I love helping people to see how the past can influence the present but that we do not have to be tied to it anymore.
Together, we can process the pain of the past and learn healthier ways of navigating through your day to day so that you can go on to live a life that feels manageable.
Whether you’re coming to counselling to deal with your anxiety or depression or to learn what a healthy relationship looks like
I will work with you, at your pace to help you feel less anxious, grow in confidence and build happier and healthier relationships so that you can live a life that you enjoy and start to be kind to yourself again.
