About me and my therapy practice

Hello my name is Teresa and I am a qualified Counsellor and a registered member of the BACP.

I believe that Counselling should be there for everyone and I will be here for your voice to be heard in a non-judgemental empathic and safe environment

I have been working in a caring capacity for over 30 years.

I have been trained in and have volunteered in a DV charity, as well as assisting in the setting up of a new counselling provision in a charity

I trained in bereavement and loss therapy, within a local charity and I  have an added interest in Pet bereavement therapy as pets are a huge part of our lives.

As well as these I have had over 18 years of working and caring for mental health and mental wellbeing.

The thought of Counselling can be daunting and my aim is to work with you within a safe therapeutic working relationship, by putting you at the heart of the work in which we will do together.
