I offer supervision to trainees, qualified counsellors and other pastoral roles and also work within a counselling training organisation.

In my private practice I work mainly outdoors using an ecotherapy approach and am a Certified EcoSensory Practitioner.

I am a BACP accredited Psychotherapist, a British Psychoanalytical Council Accredited Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy Practitioner and a certified Ecosensory Practitioner. 

Outdoor therapy can be helpful for many of the same issues as indoor therapy. Being outside in nature offers physical benefits and moving around can help us think more freely and creatively. Many people find outdoor sessions help them feel calmer and more connected to the world around them. By paying attention to our surroundings, we might notice things that give us inspiration, provide a different perspective or help us understand some of the issues we are facing.

You can choose how you would like to use each outdoor therapy session, depending on how you are feeling, the weather and what you want to get out of the session. We might choose to walk and talk for the whole session, sit in a particular spot or do some activities using our senses focusing on our surroundings.

I also offer integrative counselling, using different approaches in response to your needs and preferences, and Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy which can be helpful for understanding your relationship patterns and how they may be impacting on how you are feeling.
