About me and my therapy practice
I offer clinical supervision to qualified counsellors and counsellors in training, providing a reflective, collaborative and supportive space to think about your clinical work and professional development.
My approach is grounded in the belief that effective supervision is built on trust, openness and mutual respect. I aim to create an environment where you feel safe to reflect honestly on your client work, celebrate successes, explore challenges, and grow in confidence as a practitioner.
As a qualified Clinical Supervisor, my work is informed by the BACP Ethical Framework and a commitment to anti-oppressive, reflective practice. I see supervision as more than monitoring clinical work — it's an opportunity to deepen self-awareness, strengthen therapeutic effectiveness, and maintain ethical, safe and compassionate practice.
I work with both experienced practitioners and trainees, adapting my approach to your stage of development. Whether you're looking for ongoing supervision, support with complex client work, or space to reflect on your professional identity, supervision offers room to think creatively and critically about your practice.
Sessions are available in person at my practice in Mill Hill, Northwest London, or online.
If you would like to discuss supervision or arrange an initial meeting, please get in touch.
Practice description
I am a Psychodynamic Therapist, Clinical Supervisor and Tutor, committed to providing a warm, thoughtful and confidential space where you can explore whatever is bringing you to counselling.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling (BACP-Accredited) and a Diploma in Clinical Supervision. My work is underpinned by the BACP Ethical Framework, ensuring I practise safely, ethically and with integrity.
Before training as a therapist, I spent many years in people management. That experience gave me a deep appreciation of the pressures modern life places on us, and of how much it matters to have a space to pause, reflect and be truly heard. It also shaped my belief in the resilience people carry, even through life's most challenging times.
I believe every person has a unique story. Sometimes life feels overwhelming, relationships become difficult, or past experiences continue to shape the present in ways that aren't always obvious. Rather than offering advice or quick fixes, I work alongside you with curiosity, compassion and without judgement, helping you build a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a Clinical Supervisor and Tutor, supporting qualified and trainee counsellors in their professional development — work that keeps me connected to current thinking in the profession and continually enriches my own clinical practice.
Choosing a Supervisor is a very personal decision and finding someone you feel comfortable with is an important part of the process. I hope our first meeting will help you decide whether I'm the right person to support you.

About me and my therapy practice
I understand that issues emerge in our lives that can sometimes feel confusing, difficult and even painful, with this in mind my focus will be to encourage a feeling of comfort so that we can talk about and work together with what has led you to seek counselling. Together we can decide and discuss what feels important at a pace that works for you.
My approach to counselling is psychodynamic and within that I aim to provide a collaborative and respectful style of working to promote honest communication with kindness and curiosity. It could be that you want to find a quick solution to a symptom, or you find yourself in a crisis, or that something in your history is impacting your present. Perhaps you feel you have lost direction or that you find yourself repeating unwanted patterns or behaviours. It could be you need clarity about what is happening in your life at this moment or maybe not knowing exactly what it is that you are looking for. However typical or distinct you may believe your issues to be, your journey to understanding and dealing with them is unique to you, and it is this which will form the basis of our sessions.
An initial appointment is offered as soon as possible after our first contact during which we can assess how we might work together. Our sessions will be for 50 minutes, and usually we will meet once a week.
My practice is situated in a quiet location in northwest London, car parking is readily available as is access to public transport.
Please contact me by email at info@counsellingatwork.org if you would like to make an appointment or to find out more.
