About me and my therapy practice

Supervision provides a confidential space for professionals to reflect on their work. Reflection helps individuals to overcome problems. Problems can arise when we do not take the time to reflect.

A trusted supervisory relationship can help us to feel safe enough to bring difficult issues and possible mistakes in their practice which can inhibit both personal and professional growth.

I believe that a supervisory relationship that has equality, warmth and safety helps to reduce anxiety and enables a supportive space for reflective practice.

Fostering humility aids beneficence to both supervisee and their clients.

About me and my therapy practice

Searching for the right therapist can feel daunting. I can remember when I had to do it for myself.

Before becoming a counsellor, I owned a flower shop for 24 years.

I bring a warm, down-to-earth approach to my professional practice, shaped by years of working with people and my own lived experiences.

I have worked with diverse clients, each with different reasons for seeking therapy. Whatever brings you here, I can offer you a space to feel heard and not judged.

I also have specialist training in sexualised trauma and domestic abuse.

Practice description

I offer both online and in-person sessions.

As an integrative, relational, trauma-informed counsellor, I draw on a range of modalities to help the individuals and couples I work with.

I also have specialist training in sexualised trauma, domestic abuse and couples therapy.

I am currently undertaking postgraduate training in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy with the London Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy (LDPRT), accredited by the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and validated by Middlesex University.

As part of this specialist training, I offer psychosexual therapy in a supportive and confidential setting. All aspects of this clinical work are undertaken with regular specialist supervision, which supports COSRT’s professional standards and Code of Ethics and Practice.

£65.00 per 50-minute session for Individuals

£75.00 per  60-minute session for couples

My first session

I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation to help you decide if you would like to book an assessment with me.

The first session is an assessment that helps to give me a clear understanding of what brings you to counselling.

If we decide I am the right therapist for you. We will sign a contract together.  A counselling contract gives clear outlines and secures the work during sessions.

Investing in yourself can be valuable and empowering. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes,

Hayley.
