About me and my therapy practice

My therapy style draws on a person centred approach where I will be offering a relational approach to counselling. I will be guided by you and at your pace.  I believe that no two people are the same and that counselling should be shaped around you as an individual.

I draw on different therapeutic approaches and ways of working allowing us to explore what feels most helpful for you and your circumstances.

I believe that counselling is a collaborative process and that you are the expert in your own life.  I work in a way that is tailored to you, recognising that everyone's needs, circumstances and ways of coping are different.

I take time to understand what brings you to counselling and what you hope to gain from it.  Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, struggling with a particular issue, experiencing a difficult period in your life or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, counselling can provide a space to pause, reflect and make sense of things.  My aim is to provide a genuine, trusting therapeutic relationship where you can feel heard, valued and supported as we work together towards the changes you would like to make.
