About me and my therapy practice
I am a play therapist, counsellor and SandStory therapist, who offers neuro-affirming therapy and supervision. With two decades of experience working with children, young people, and adults across diverse environments—including early years, schools, children's homes, family contact centres, adoption therapy services, and the management of a neurodiverse therapy service for both neurodivergent therapists and clients—I bring substantial expertise. Additionally, I offer my personal perspective as an individual with lived experience of neurodivergence.
As an Integrative counsellor, I provide creative, person-centred, CBT, Gestalt, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, SandStory therapy, play therapy, and Lego-based therapy. We can work with art, clay, poetry, photography, music, symbols, story making, creative visualisations, mindfulness, sound, movement, metaphors or your interests to support your therapeutic process.
As a Creative Integrative Supervisor, I use these approaches and tailor interventions to each session's needs. During our assessment we can explore these more fully and I would love to answer any questions that you may have.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a neurodivergent integrative counsellor, play therapist and therapeutic coach. I am qualified in a range of evidence-based and creative therapeutic approaches, including person-centred counselling, CBT, Gestalt therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, SandStory therapy, play therapy and Lego based therapy.
As an integrative practitioner, I do not follow a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I draw thoughtfully from these approaches to create a personalised way of working that responds to what you bring to each session, at your pace, and in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.
Our work together may include creative and experiential methods such as art, clay, poetry, music, storytelling, visualisation, mindfulness, gentle movement, symbols, metaphors, Lego, or incorporating your own interests and passions where these feel helpful.
Creative work is always optional and guided by your comfort and preferences.
Alongside my professional training, I bring lived experience as a neurodivergent adult. This allows me to support you with insight, understanding, and respect as you explore your life story, recognise your strengths and develop goals and strategies that genuinely work for your brain and your everyday life.
My approach is holistic, integrative, and firmly neuro-affirmative. I aim to offer a space where difference is respected, strengths are valued and support is practical as well as compassionate.
During our initial assessment, we can explore how this approach might work for you, and I am always happy to answer any questions you may have.
