About me and my therapy practice

As a qualified supervisor, I offer a collaborative, supportive space where you can reflect on your client work, explore challenges, celebrate growth, and stay grounded in ethical, effective practice. My supervision style is relational, reflective, and rooted in trust, openness, and mutual respect, a space where you can bring all aspects of your work with confidence.

I  tailor supervision to your stage of practice, whether you’re in training, newly qualified, or an experienced practitioner seeking a fresh, reflective perspective. Together, we explore your clinical process, professional identity, and emotional wellbeing, helping you stay resourced, confident, and connected in your work.

Supervision is far more than a requirement; it’s a vital opportunity for growth, grounding, and professional nourishment. My aim is to support you in deepening your practice, maintaining ethical clarity, and fostering your development as a thoughtful, attuned therapist.

With experience in Mental Health Act legislation, I bring a strong understanding of risk and complexities of severe and enduring mental health difficulties. This experience gives me valuable insight into psychiatric illness, multidisciplinary working, and the realities therapists face when supporting clients with higher‑level needs.

If you’re looking for a reflective, steady, and encouraging supervision relationship, I’d be very happy to talk about how we might work together.

About me and my therapy practice

I’m an Integrative Counsellor who specialises in supporting people living with anxiety. Whether you experience constant worry, panic, racing thoughts, physical tension, or a sense of being overwhelmed, I offer a calm and grounded space where you can safely explore what you’re going through.

Anxiety shows up differently for everyone, and together we’ll explore how it affects your mind, body, emotions, and daily life. My integrative approach brings together a range of therapeutic models so that our work will be tailored to your unique needs. My aim is not only to help you understand the roots of your anxiety but also to support you in developing practical tools to manage it with greater ease.

Clients often come to me when anxiety begins to impact relationships, confidence, sleep, work, or everyday decision‑making. In our sessions, you’ll be met with empathy, steadiness, and compassion. We’ll work at a pace that feels safe, helping you reconnect with a sense of control, calm, and confidence.

If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed and want support to move forward, I’m here to help you rediscover a space within yourself that feels more grounded and resilient.

Practice description

I offer both online counselling and in‑person sessions in Parkstone, Poole. Giving you the flexibility to choose what feels most comfortable and convenient.

Online counselling is a popular choice for many clients. It allows you to access support from the comfort of your own home, saving travel time and offering a sense of ease and privacy. It can be especially helpful if you have a busy schedule or mobility difficulties.

If you prefer a traditional therapy space, I also offer in‑person sessions in Parkstone, where you’ll find a calm, welcoming environment to explore what’s going on for you. Some clients like the routine of physically coming to a session, and others feel more grounded when working face‑to‑face.

Whether online or in person, the quality of our work together remains the same. You’re welcome to choose the format that suits you best, and you can switch between them if your needs or circumstances change.

My first session

Before booking a full session, I offer a free 15‑minute telephone consultation so you can get a feel for how I work and ask any questions.

Your initial session is a gentle introduction to working together. It’s a space for you to share what’s been happening for you, what brings you to counselling, and what you hope to change or understand. I’ll ask a few supportive questions to get a sense of your experiences, and you’re welcome to share at your own pace. we’ll explore what therapy might look like for you, and create a plan that feels comfortable and supportive.
