About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Clinical Supervisor offering supervision to trainee and experienced counsellors and psychotherapists working across a range of settings.
My approach to supervision is collaborative, reflective and professionally grounded. I aim to provide a safe and supportive space where you can think openly about your client work, develop confidence and explore both clinical practice and personal process within clear ethical boundaries.
I work integratively, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural approaches, alongside mindfulness-based practice. This allows supervision to be flexible and responsive to your individual way of working while maintaining a strong ethical and professional focus.
Alongside private practice, I bring extensive experience across the NHS, private practice and community and charitable services, working with adults and young people presenting with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. I also hold a strong academic foundation in psychology and psychotherapy, and have experience in counselling training and education.
I have also previously taught across counselling training programmes from Level 3 through to degree level within further and higher education settings, supporting the development of trainee therapists.
I offer supervision to trainees, newly qualified and experienced therapists, both individually and within organisational settings.
Practice description
I offer clinical supervision for trainees, newly qualified and experienced counsellors and psychotherapists working with adults and young people. My approach is collaborative, reflective, and integrative, providing a supportive, professionally grounded space to think about client work, ethical practice and professional development.
Alongside private practice, I bring experience across the NHS, community and charitable services, as well as counselling training and education. I aim to offer a supervision space that supports confidence, clarity and ongoing professional growth.
My first session
I offer an initial conversation before beginning supervision to discuss your current practice, training requirements, and what you hope to gain from supervision. This provides an opportunity for us to consider whether working together feels like a good fit.
Our first full supervision session allows time to explore your client work, professional context and any specific requirements relating to your course or professional body. We will also discuss practical arrangements, such as the frequency of sessions, record-keeping, and the supervision agreement.
Before starting supervision, I will usually send a brief information form and supervision agreement to review. My approach is collaborative and supportive, aiming to provide a reflective space that supports both ethical practice and professional development.

About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Billie. I’m a Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and psychology-trained practitioner working with adults, young people and couples across Essex and online throughout the UK.
People often seek therapy when something begins to feel overwhelming, stuck or difficult to manage alone. You might feel emotionally overwhelmed, notice certain patterns repeating, or have a sense that something doesn’t feel quite right despite managing day to day on the surface, even if you can’t fully put it into words yet.
I work with adults, young people and couples across a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. While I have particular experience supporting those navigating trauma, ADHD, addiction and relationship challenges, I also work with many other concerns, including anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, life transitions and feelings of being stuck or overwhelmed.
I understand that these experiences often overlap and can affect many areas of life, including relationships, confidence and overall emotional wellbeing. My work considers you as a whole person and the wider context of your life, rather than focusing solely on symptoms.
Alongside my private practice, I bring extensive clinical experience and a strong academic foundation in psychology and psychotherapy. My professional work has included roles within the NHS, private practice, and community and charitable organisations, supporting individuals with a wide range of emotional and psychological needs.
I place importance on providing a consistent, supportive and thoughtfully held therapeutic space for each person and couple I work with.
Practice description
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor with a strong academic foundation in psychology and psychotherapy. My work is informed by a range of therapeutic approaches, allowing therapy to be tailored to each individual rather than using a single fixed model.
Since qualifying, I have worked with adults and young people across the NHS, private practice and community and charitable organisations, supporting a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. Alongside individual therapy, I have facilitated both structured and process-based therapeutic groups and developed therapeutic programmes within community services, including work focused on self-esteem, anxiety, relationships and relapse prevention.
I am a qualified Clinical Supervisor and work with both trainee and experienced therapists. I have also previously lectured across counselling and psychotherapy training programmes, supporting the development of students from introductory training through to degree level.
Ongoing professional development remains central to my practice, ensuring that the work I offer is reflective, ethical and clinically informed.
I have a particular interest in working with ADHD and neurodivergence, and bring both professional expertise and lived understanding to this area of my work.

My first session
I offer a free 15-minute introductory call prior to booking a first session. This gives us an opportunity to briefly discuss what has brought you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and whether working together feels like the right fit.
The first full session lasts 50 minutes and provides space for you to talk in more depth about what is going on for you currently, any relevant background and what you would like to gain from therapy. We will also discuss how we might work together and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions about the process.
Before beginning therapy, I will usually send a short information form and therapeutic agreement to review. Depending on what has brought you to therapy, I may also suggest optional questionnaires or reflective tools to support our work together. My approach remains collaborative and paced according to your individual needs.
