About me and my therapy practice
As a supervisor, I draw on a range of therapeutic frameworks to support you in a way that is responsive to your individual practice, learning style, and developmental needs. My supervision is person-centred, relational, holistic, and trauma-informed, creating a space that is both supportive and appropriately challenging.
I integrate counselling, coaching, and creative methods where appropriate, supporting both the clinical and personal aspects of your practice. Whether you are newly qualified, in training, or an experienced therapist, my approach is flexible and attuned to your stage of professional development.
Practice description
I am an experienced counsellor, clinical supervisor, and counselling manager at a local counselling charity. I am also a parent, sister, and wife; roles that enrich my life and inspire me in the work I do in supporting others.
I have a particular interests in working with teenagers, parents, neurodivergence and women navigating chronic health conditions and life transitions. Through my professional and lived experiences , I understand the challenges that can arise when trying to make sense of ourselves and our relationships with others, particularly during important stages of life.
My experience of working in a variety of settings, including schools, has enabled me the privilege of supporting children, young people and adults navigating complex emotional, mental, and social challenges. I have seen first-hand the power of a compassionate and human approach to helping people overcome obstacles, find resilience, and make positive changes in their lives.
I’m deeply committed to creating a space where every client feels heard, supported, and empowered.
I offer a compassionate, person-centred approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that the client is the the expert on their own life. My work with clients is relational and collaborative, a space where a person can explore their thoughts, feelings, experiences, hopes and potential, at their own pace.
I am also trauma-informed, which means I am sensitive to the impact of past traumas and committed to fostering safety, trust, and empowerment throughout our work together.
