About me and my therapy practice
I am an Integrative Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor offering a warm, supportive and confidential space where you can talk openly about whatever may be on your mind. I work compassionately and without judgement, helping you explore difficulties at your own pace while feeling heard, understood and respected.
My approach integrates the Person-Centred Approach and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), allowing me to tailor therapy to your individual needs. I hold a degree in Psychology and I am an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, working in accordance with their ethical framework.
I have experience working with a wide range of mental health concerns. Previously, I provided counselling within GP practices in Wales, supporting clients with issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement and trauma. I have also worked within a community interest company managing counselling services for peri-natal and post-natal parents experiencing depression, anxiety, abuse and loss. Alongside this, I have been involved in coordinating counselling projects and supporting trainee counsellors in placement.
I currently work part-time delivering counselling within an occupational health organisation.
I offer counselling for adults and young adults. Sessions are available Monday and Friday, and can be held online, by telephone, or face-to-face.
Clinical Supervision
As a clinical supervisor, I work with both qualified and trainee counsellors. My supervision practice is informed by the Hawkins and Shohet Seven-Eyed Model, providing a reflective and supportive space to explore all aspects of your work. Together we can consider clinical practice, professional development, areas of uncertainty, and safeguarding responsibilities.
