About me and my therapy practice
I work in a person-centred and integrative way, which means I focus on understanding your experience from your perspective, while also drawing on different therapeutic approaches where helpful.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I aim to offer a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and begin to make sense of what you’re going through.
I work at your pace, recognising that everyone’s experience is different. Where appropriate, I may incorporate elements of CBT or psychoeducation to help you better understand your thoughts, feelings, and patterns.
My practice is trauma-informed, meaning I am mindful of how past experiences can impact the present, including how we relate to ourselves and others.
Clinical Supervision
I also offer clinical supervision to qualified counsellors and trainees. My approach is collaborative and reflective, providing a supportive space to explore your client work, develop your confidence, and deepen your practice.
My supervision is trauma-informed and attentive to both client work and the wellbeing of the practitioner.
Practice description
I offer a welcoming and confidential space where you can feel safe to explore whatever is bringing you to therapy.
Sessions are available both in person and online, with some daytime and evening availability. We can work together on a short-term or longer-term basis, depending on your needs.
In our first session, we will take some time to explore what has brought you to therapy and what you would like support with. There is no pressure to share everything straight away — we will go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I have experience working with both adults and young people, supporting a range of issues including anxiety, low mood, bereavement, relationship difficulties, and challenges within work or education.
If you’re unsure about starting therapy, I offer a free initial phone conversation to help you decide if working together feels right.
My first session
It can be hard to take that first step, and a free and informal chat on the phone about the challenges you are facing can often be reassuring. If you feel that this would be of benefit, you can contact me by telephone (text) or via email to arrange a convenient date and time. Alternatively please leave me a voicemail and i will return to you as soon as possible. Please let me know your preferred contact method , day and times.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello and welcome.
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin. I offer a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and in confidence.
My aim is to build a therapeutic relationship where you feel accepted, understood, and valued as you are. We can work together at your pace, for as long as feels helpful for you.
Practice description
My approach is grounded in person-centred therapy, meaning I place importance on understanding your experience from your perspective. I also work in an integrative way, drawing on different approaches such as CBT where helpful, and offering psychoeducation when it feels appropriate.
My work is trauma-informed, recognising how past experiences can shape how we feel, think, and relate to others in the present.
I have experience supporting both adults and young people, particularly those facing challenges such as anxiety, low mood, bereavement, and difficulties in relationships or at work.
Alongside my private practice, I have worked with a diverse range of clients within organisations, including educational settings and services supporting addiction.
I have specialist bereavement training and experience supporting a range of grief experiences, including the loss of a child, and have volunteered with Cruse and SANDS.
I have also completed additional training in areas including trauma and applied neuroscience in relation to anxiety, panic, and worry.
I am a qualified counsellor, a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and an accredited member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
My first session
Taking the first step can feel difficult, so I offer a free, informal initial phone conversation. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
If you would like to get in touch, you are welcome to contact me by text or email. Please feel free to include your preferred times and method of contact, and I will respond as soon as I can.
