About me and my therapy practice
Supervision, Reflective Practice and Self-Care for Therapists
As an integrative counsellor and trainee psychoanalytical psychotherapist, I offer integrative supervision, using the Seven Eye Model as a framework, for a multi-dimensional perspective, which holds the client at its’ heart.
Along side this, I also run:
- Reflective Practice Groups for therapists wishing to more intentionally focus on their development, aspirations and professional identity.
- CPD Reading Groups for therapists wishing to join peers in unpacking a particular theory or clinical topic.
- Self-Care Sessions for therapist using EFT (Tapping) for therapists wanting to process vicarious issues arising from client material.
Please have a look at my website for more information and don't hesitate reach out for an informal no obligation chat!

Practice description
Supervision is the anchor of ethical, reflective therapeutic work and finding the right supervisor can take time.
My approach is grounded in depth psychology, relational thinking and the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision. I’m particularly interested in the dynamics that sit beneath the surface, the unspoken pressures, internal conflicts, countertransference, attachment patterns and identity themes that shape both client work and practitioner wellbeing.
Supervision with me may be a good fit if you value a space where:
- you can be honest about uncertainty, mistakes and dilemmas without fear of judgement
- clinical exploration includes both the overt story and the deeper, symbolic or unconscious material
- your own relational patterns, triggers and blind spots can be noticed compassionately and used as information, not criticism
- professional growth includes the personal dimension: identity, attachment, boundaries, meaning and the “self of the therapist”
- self-care isn’t a cliché — it’s a real part of ethical practice
- collaboration, not hierarchy, is the foundation of our work together
I draw on an integrative and psychoanalytic framework, informed by ongoing training in analytic psychotherapy. This means our conversations may include:
the dynamics of the therapeutic relationship, parallel process, internal conflict, developmental themes, attachment patterns, working with masking or high-functioning distress, and how to navigate complex client presentations without losing yourself in the process.
Supervision should feel like a place where you can exhale and explore. A space where all parts of your experience are welcome.
If you’re looking for a reflective, relational, depth-oriented supervisory space that supports both your clinical thinking and your wellbeing, you’re welcome to get in touch.
My first session
Before we meet for our first session, I will send you a welcome pack with some reflective prompts encouraging you to consider what you would find most useful from Supervision. It also helps me learn about you and your practice, your strengths and focus areas for CPD.
As with client work, I believe the supervisor/supervisee relationship is crucial to the success of our work together, so we will spend some time in the first session getting a feel for each other before we dive into client work.

Do you work online or in person?
I offer both online sessions and in-person therapy from my practice room in Tunbridge Wells. If we work online, you’ll just need a private space, a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera.
How long do people usually work with you?
People often work with me long-term, simply because it takes time to understand and gently shift deep-seated patterns. As a starting point, I suggest weekly 50-minute sessions so we both have a consistent rhythm to work within. After an initial block of six sessions, we’ll pause and reflect on how things are feeling and what you might need going forward.
How often should I attend?
Consistency is a key part of therapeutic change. Weekly sessions help us build a strong working relationship and create the momentum needed for meaningful progress.
For this reason, I generally work on a weekly basis rather than fortnightly or monthly, though we can discuss what feels possible for you.
Is this the right fit for you?
Working with me may be a good fit if you’re ready to look at recurring patterns in relationships, self-worth, decision-making or emotional life and would value a steady, reflective and compassionate space to do that.
If you’re unsure, you’re very welcome to get in touch with any questions. There’s no pressure to commit
About me and my therapy practice
You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in recurring patterns, or exhausted from trying to keep everything “together” on the outside while battling something very different internally. Many of the people I work with describe themselves as high-functioning but struggling; constantly thinking, constantly managing, constantly masking.
Often they’re carrying a quiet sense of loneliness or invisibility, even within relationships. Others describe an inner tug-of-war: part of them wants change, while another part feels scared, guilty, undeserving or unsure where to begin. Some are also processing a suspected or recent ADHD diagnosis and trying to make sense of long-standing patterns through a new lens.
If any of this resonates, you’re not alone and you don’t have to untangle it on your own.
My clinical work focuses on internal conflict, self-sabotage, high-functioning distress, and the lingering emotional impact of a childhood your practical needs were met but your emotional needs were overlooked.
These experiences often lead to patterns that repeat in adulthood: overthinking, people-pleasing, shutting down, difficulty asking for help, struggling to feel “seen,” or feeling disconnected from your own needs.
Therapy with me is a space to slow down, understand these patterns compassionately, and reconnect with the parts of you that have been silenced, dismissed, or pushed aside. My approach is rooted in depth psychology: I help you explore the meaning behind your emotional responses, not just the symptoms. Over time, clients often describe feeling more grounded, more self-accepting and more able to make choices that align with who they are.
If you’ve spent years coping alone, feeling “too much,” “not enough,” or unsure how to turn insight into change, this work may be a good fit for you
Practice description
What can I expect?
I see therapy as a collaborative process, not me as the expert and you as the problem, but the two of us working together with curiosity and honesty. My style is warm, steady and reflective. I listen both to what you say and to what you’ve learned to protect, hide or minimise.
A lot of the people I work with have spent years being the responsible one, the capable one, the one others rely on. They’re used to coping alone. In therapy, that can translate into insightful, articulate explanations but difficulty feeling supported or allowing the work to deepen. I’m attuned to that dynamic, and we move at a pace that feels safe and grounded while still allowing change to unfold.
My work draws on psychoanalytic thinking, attachment theory and relational depth work. This means we pay attention not only to events in the past, but to how those early patterns quietly shape your present-day emotions, decisions and relationships. Many clients find that simply having these patterns named brings a huge sense of relief. But insight alone isn’t the end point — we use it as a bridge to new ways of responding, relating and caring for yourself.
Common themes in my work include:
- feeling unseen, unwanted or unimportant
- difficulty trusting relationships or letting people in
- overfunctioning, masking or always being “the strong one”
- internal conflict (wanting change but feeling blocked)
- self-sabotage, procrastination or perfectionism
- low mood linked to exhaustion, self-criticism or long-term pressure
- fear of failure or fear of success
- identity confusion following an ADHD diagnosis (self or family member)
Therapy isn’t about becoming a different person - it’s about becoming more yourself, with a clearer, kinder understanding of your inner world.
My first session
When you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious or distressed it can be hard to know where to start. In our first session I will walk you through some questions to help us build a picture of the things that are troubling you. I work collaboratively with my clients to agree next steps and create the trust and safety which facilitates change. First sessions can be daunting but we go at your pace.
